The Lodge
The apartment, located on the 2nd floor of a building in the historic center of Taormina (just a few steps from Porta Messina), has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen - living room and a balcony.
The apartment has air conditioning/heating, TV Smart 50" LED with satellite, internet wifi free, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The Neighbourhood & Services
The apartment does NOT provide private parking. The nearest car park, called Parking Porta Pasquale, is located about 150 meters from the apartment. The parking is public and has fees. The ticket costs 14 Euros for 24 hours or 22 Euros for 48 hours.
Within walking distance you will find the bus stop for city buses connecting with the sea and the neighboring villages, the taxi station, the tourist bus stop (CityBySee) and the stop of the free shuttle bus that connects the parking LUMBI (the largest in the city) to the center.
At almost 200 meters away there is the station of the cable car that connects the city to the beaches (Mazzarò and Isola Bella) and at about 300 meters away there is the bus terminal from where buses depart and arrive for suburban services, linking the city with the Catania Airport, the railway station of Taormina - Giardini and all major cities of the Ionian coast.
The Greek Theatre is 300 meters away from the house.
Nearby the house there are also restaurants, pizzerias, bars, grocery stores, the Municipal Market (open every day from Monday to Saturday from 07:30 to 14:00), a bakery shops, a pizza takeaway, two pubs, a wellness centre and a car/motorcycle rental.

Appartamento #5 di grande livello. È come trovarsi in un hotel 4 stelle con in più una cucina molto funzionale. Location stupenda vicina al centro (Porta MESSINA) ma abbastanza distante dal caos e confusione notturna. Tutti i servizi della casa sono così come descritto e fotografati da Vincenzo che è stato un host eccezionale dandoci consigli e suggerimenti per rendere la nostra vacanza indimenticabile. Suggerisco agli ospiti di contattare il Lido La Pigna che che è un lido esclusivo ed eccellente e fa servizio navetta sotto casa in modo da annullare lo stress di prendere la funicolare per scendere al mare. Ritorneremo sicuramente presto a Taormina soggiornando presso I Due Grifoni..

Absolutely lovely time. Vincenzo was fantastic and very hospitable. We where late due to our flight. Vincenzo met us late with a smile and bottle of wine. I could not recommend a better place to stay. Very central and so easy to get around. You can park at the bottom of the town with a free shuttle bus taking you right outside the apartment. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

The flat in brand new, great decoration, and has a terrace. Even if located in the center of Taormina, the flat is at the back, so very quiet and plenty of sun on the terrace. Highly recommend this place

It has been a great stay. Vicenzo is very helpful, the flat is absolutly nice with all needed facilities, newly refurbished, windows on the back which make it really quiet, well located (right in front of Porta Messina) in the heart of Taormina centre, 5 mins walk from the cableway (funiculaire) to go to the beach in just 3 mins while enjoying one of the best view of Taormina.
