The Lodge
The apartment, located on the 2nd floor of a building in the historic center of Taormina (just a few steps from Porta Messina), is new and has a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen - living room (with a double sofa bed) and a balcony.
The apartment has air conditioning/heating system, TV Smart 50" LED with satellite, free wifi, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The appartment does NOT provide private parking. The nearest car park, called Parking Porta Pasquale, is located about 150 meters from the apartment. The parking is public and has fees. The ticket costs 14 Euros for 24 hours or 22 Euros for 48 hours.
The Neighbourhood & Services
Within walking distance you will find the bus stop for city buses connecting with the sea and the neighboring villages, the taxi station, the tourist bus stop (CityBySee) and the stop of the free shuttle bus that connects the parking LUMBI (the largest in the city) to the center.
At almost 200 meters away there is the station of the cable car that connects the city to the beaches (Mazzarò and Isola Bella) and at about 300 meters away there is the bus terminal from where buses depart and arrive for suburban services, linking the city with the Catania Airport, the railway station of Taormina - Giardini and all major cities of the Ionian coast.
The Greek Theatre is 300 meters away from the house.
Nearby the house there are also restaurants, pizzerias, bars, grocery stores, the Municipal Market (open every day from Monday to Saturday from 07:30 to 14:00), a bakery shops, a pizza takeaway, two pubs, a wellness centre and a car/motorcycle rental.

Our apartment was so beautiful. We really loved our stay here. It was very modern & clean. It was in the perfect location close to the main street in town, restaurants, shops etc. We had three people stay here and it was quite comfortable. We cannot be more thankful to Vincenzo and his wife for making us feel so at home with their bnb. My husband and I got married in Taormina and chose Vincenzo's listing based on its location and because of the lovely photos on site. We couldn't have picked a better spot. Vincenzo and his wife think of every detail, such as welcome treats and refreshments in the fridge. The place is new and very clean, aesthetically pleasing. The location is top notch as you are steps from the cable car to go down to the beach, but also steps to corso Umberto where the major shops and resteraunts are located. We will never forget Taormina because we got married there, but also because of people like Vincenzo and his wife who made our stay incredible

Superbe appartement correspondant tout à fait aux photos. La situation de l'appartement est idéale: proche du centre historique, des transports et de toutes les commodités. Très bon accueil de notre hôte (avec en prime une bouteille de vin et tous les produits de 1ère nécessité!), qui a été extrêmement disponible durant tout notre séjour.

Very modern and well appointed apartment in a perfect location - very central to the main street but a minute or two walk away so quieter when wanting to retreat! Vincenzo made us very welcome on arrival.

This place of Vincenzo is a real 5 star venue. Quiet and comfortable. Spacious, modern, well equipped with personal extra touch ie coffee, honey, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basics for cooking, water and juice in fridge, bottle of wine on arrival. Close to Medina gate, close to different bus stops and the funicular, bakery 30 metres away as well as a convenience shop. Double glazed windows keep noise out.

Die Wohnung entspricht einer 5 Sterne Suite. Die Lage ist absolut perfekt, gleich neben dem Nordeingang zur Fussgängerzone. Die Navetta (Pendelbusse) verbindet das Parkhaus mit dem Zentrum und stoppt gleich vor der Haustüre. Ab vier Nächten lohnt es sich, die Tageskarte in eine Settimanale umzutauschen, da günstiger und nicht bei jeder Ausfahrt bezahlt werden muss. Auch die Kommunikation mit Vicenzo hat perfekt geklappt. Er hat uns pünktlich empfangen, beim Gepäck geholfen und uns das Appartement gezeigt.
